Farming for
Future Generations.
We've been farming this land for five generations, and we plan to be here for a few more. That means every decision, from how we irrigate to how we package, is made with an eye on what's sustainable for the long run, not just this season.
“My responsibility is to make decisions today that keep the farm viable and healthy for the generations that follow.”

Our Practices
We strive for continuous improvement, exceeding legal requirements and constantly pursuing industry best practices.
-

Water Stewardship
We irrigate using a mix of drip, center-pivot, and wind-fighting sprinkler systems chosen for water efficiency in each growing region.
-

Soil Health
We protect the long-term productivity of our growing regions through cover cropping, crop rotation, and composting.
-

Regenerative Practices
On select acreage, we're piloting regenerative growing practices, and building on the same cover-cropping, crop rotation, and composting foundation described above. It’s aimed at rebuilding soil health and reducing our environmental footprint over time.
-

Clean Energy & Conservation
Our facilities run in part on solar energy, with EV charging stations for passenger vehicles on-site. Sixty-five wind turbines are interspersed across our Oregon farmland, and we participate in USDA CREP Program, the Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program, to protect sensitive land within our growing regions.
-

Regional Growing, Lower Footprint
We grow and process our carrots by following the weather — moving our operations between growing regions as the seasons change. Fewer miles means a smaller carbon footprint and more efficient shipping from field to shelf.
How We Grow
We grow both organic and conventional produce, guided by practices designed to protect soil health and reduce environmental impact over the long term, including regenerative techniques on select acreage. Our organic program is CCOF and ODA Certified Organic.
Food Safety
Every step of our operation, from field to cold storage to shipping, is built around rigorous food safety standards, so our retail and food service partners can trust what's on the label. Our Boardman, Oregon facility is audited by Primus Labs, and our organic program carries CCOF certification. Additionally, we are SCS Global GAP certified. Because our entire supply chain stays on U.S. soil, that also means consistent, transparent U.S. food safety oversight from field to shelf — no handoffs to a foreign grower or shipper to account for.
Worker Welfare
Our people are as much a part of this farm's story as the land is. Several of our field and packing employees have been with us for 40-plus years, and hiring often runs across whole families and generations. Three generations of the family live on the farms, and we employ fifth-generation farmers in the region. Every worker is legally employed under compliant H2A visa and E-Verify programs, with company-owned, DOL-certified H2A housing for 150-plus employees, backed by routine inspections, independent, third-party worker safety audits, and ongoing workplace training.
